Hello all! This is, as seems to be my habit, an apology for being absent for such a long period of time. I don't ever mean to be gone to so long, but I was so SO busy with school and work that I had absolutely no time for myself. I have loved school so far, but the projects are so enormous that I don't have time to draw anything personal or anything outside of my schoolwork anymore. My mother and grandfather have also been sick these past couple of weeks, and in my free time I have been flying home to spend time with them.

I have decided to take all online classes this quarter, so I can play catch up big time on all of my obligations and responsibilities. I'm still working on details fro the Sailor Moon reboot, don't you worry! I'm still really excited about it too. So please allow me a couple of days to sift through all of my messages and notes. I will respond to all of them, I just have to get my head together first on everything I need to show people and give them.

I've been wanting try my hand at comic/sequence art for a very long time, but any ideas for comics I had were too personal to waste on my first go.

So i've had this idea for a long time, and I wanted to run it by you guys for opinions.

The comic would be somewhat of a Sailor Moon reboot, and gritty one. It would be free and online only, not for profit for obvious copyright reasons - just an homage.


So! Throw some ideas at me. This would be something I would do in my free time between school, work, and other commitments, so it would be a long process.

I need some ideas for:

-Story line I need it to still roughly related to the original manga story progression.

-Costume ideas. I need ideas (visual or worded) of what a good costume redesign would look like. They can be yours or inspired by someone else's design that you liked (I it works and I get their permission to use it of course!)

-Names For new and existing characters. Should I keep the character's original names (English or Japanese version) or change them?

-Attacks and Weapons Names and descriptions!

-New characters Can even be your OCs if they work with the story enough!



Remember, it's a GRITTY reboot. It's like Sailor Moon meets something like...I don't know, murder and corrupt stuff. Not anything that will ruin your childhood or what not, but something that would be a potential multi million action movie. Shit like that. So story lines with revenge and extremely flawed characters are what I'm looking for. I'm super excited about this potential project, so throw some ideas at me!

Got all my acen commissions done, working on one last commission I had from a little bit ago. So, now that my commissions are in the mail, i'm going to work on a few personal things for some friends for a bit. Also, my small summer break starts soon, but I will be gone through most of it i'm afraid. :c


But anways, I was thinking that I had a ton of prints left over from acen, and I was going to sell them online here, just to get rid of them. I was sharing a table with JocelynAda and sitting next to Maxx-V. We had an AWESOME time, and i even got a tiny bit (like 10 minutes) of cosplaying in. Whoo!


Except we got stuck across from psycho sylvia, so that was no fun. Got tired of staring at shiny desu all damn day.

HOWEVER.

Fun times otherwise! My boyfriend Kristyrat and Ileia did their Iron Editor thingamajig. I played a guessing game while we waited for the contest to finish and swore and hollered a whole lot. I lost :c Oh well, Andre lost too But both videos were REALLY awesome. So! Good acen times.

JocelynAda and I are thinking of going to Youmacon this november in detroit. Let me know if you'll be there!

I had a really great birthday, got some new arts supplies, new copics, the whole shabang. It was AWESOME.




On a side note, is anyone going to Acen? I'll be there in the artist alley with my friends JocelynAda and Maxx-V. They won't give us our seating arrangement until we get there, so I don't know where we'll be.
